SUVI

Helper routines for the Solar UltraViolet Imager (SUVI) instrument on the GOES-R series of satellites.

Note

SUVI data (and data from other GOES instrumentation):

• L1b and L2 FITS files

• L1b netCDF files , a publicly available Amazon S3 bucket, look on page 2 after all the ABI data.

Functions

despike_l1b_array(data, dqf[, filter_width])	Despike SUVI L1b data and return a despiked numpy.ndarray.
despike_l1b_file(filename[, filter_width])	Despike SUVI L1b data and return a despiked Map.
files_to_map(files[, despike_l1b, ...])	Read SUVI L1b FITS or netCDF files or L2 HDR composite FITS files and return a Map or a MapSequence.
get_response(request[, spacecraft, ...])	Get the SUVI instrument response for a specific wavelength channel, spacecraft, CCD temperature, and exposure type.
read_suvi(filename)	Read a SUVI L1b FITS or netCDF file or a L2 HDR composite FITS file.
