true_obliquity_of_ecliptic

Deprecated since version 1.0: The true_obliquity_of_ecliptic function is deprecated and may be removed in a future version. Use sunpy.coordinates.sun.true_obliquity_of_ecliptic instead.

Returns the true obliquity of the ecliptic, using the IAU 2006 definition. Correction for nutation is included.

Parameters

t (tuple, str, pandas.Timestamp, pandas.Series, pandas.DatetimeIndex, datetime.datetime, datetime.date, numpy.datetime64, numpy.ndarray, astropy.time.Time) – Time to use in a parse-time-compatible format

Notes

The nutation model is IAU 2000A nutation with adjustments to match IAU 2006 precession.
