sunpy.sun.sun.apparent_longitude(t='now') [edit on github]

Deprecated since version 1.0: The apparent_longitude function is deprecated and may be removed in a future version. Use sunpy.coordinates.sun.apparent_longitude instead.

Returns the Sun’s apparent longitude, referred to the true equinox of date. Corrections for nutation and aberration (for Earth motion) are included.

t (tuple, str, pandas.Timestamp, pandas.Series, pandas.DatetimeIndex, datetime.datetime,, numpy.datetime64, numpy.ndarray, astropy.time.Time) – Time to use in a parse-time-compatible format

The nutation model is IAU 2000A nutation with adjustments to match IAU 2006 precession.
